A Little History…
After graduating from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Illustration, Rich returned home from New York and focused on his art career in Chicago. After several years working for various advertising agencies and clients Rich cultivated his “side-business” that would wind up being the catalyst for the creation of Murals & So Much More.
During a 5-year period over 30 murals were completed in and around the Chicagoland area – both residential and commercial.
In the end of ‘95 a change of scenery was sought that resulted in a nearly 10-year stint away from Chicago. The bulk of it spent in Los Angeles working in the TV/Film business. From Set dressers all the way to Production Design. It was during that time in LA that the passion for Carpentry took hold – and never let go.
It is important to note Rich’s year long detour enjoying the picturesque landscape of Livingston, MT.
Murals & So Much More is Grown
Rich made his way back home to Chicago and upon his return took Murals & So Much More into full force offering “so much more” than just painting and Illustration. From one-of-a-kind Art pieces, murals, large and small canvasses, to playhouses, tree houses, decks & porches. He now offered custom designed furniture, built-in cabinets & general contracting.
Murals & So Much More can and does provide for all of your art, custom creation and general home needs. We take pride in producing a product of high quality, completing it within a reasonable time frame AND Staying on or under budget. Working WITH YOU to ensure that you are thrilled with the final product- in turn Bringing your ideas to life.

Pricing
Since every job is unique – there is no set price for our services. Depending on your specific project – price can be determined per job or per hour. Some work better with an hourly rate and some are better with a flat fee.
For certain jobs a ballpark estimate might be able to be given over the phone – but usually it’s in the best interest of both the client and the Artist to do a site visit as it is the best way to get a more accurate estimate or idea of cost. All site visits are complimentary. A small design fee is charged when creating your one-of a kind custom design/proposal package. Once awarded, the design fee is refunded by way of subtracting it from final payment.
